Principles and respective advantages of commonly used electric valves and pneumatic valves in water treatment
Many enterprises in our country are not very familiar with water treatment and environmental protection equipment in sewage treatment projects. Nowadays, environmental pollution is so serious that many colleagues in the environmental protection industry are striving for the sustainable development of China's environmental protection profession. So, let's briefly introduce the basic knowledge of environmental water treatment. Below, let's analyze the principles and respective advantages of electric valves and pneumatic valves in the production piping process of the workshop.
Electric valves are usually composed of electric actuators and valves. Electric valves use electrical energy as power to drive the valve through an electric actuator, achieving the opening and closing action of the valve. Then achieve the purpose of switching the pipeline medium. Electric valves have a larger operating force distance than ordinary valves, adjustable opening and closing speed, simple structure, and easy protection. They can be used to control the movement of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal, and radioactive media.
Pneumatic valves are valves driven by compressed air. The use of compressed air to drive multiple sets of combined pneumatic pistons inside the actuator, transmitting force to the crossbeam and inner curved track, drives the air core spindle to rotate. The compressed air disc is transmitted to each cylinder, and the inlet and outlet positions are changed to change the direction of spindle rotation. According to the required rotational torque of the load (valve), the number of cylinder combinations can be adjusted to drive the load (valve) operation. Pneumatic valves can be used to control the movement of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metals, and radioactive media.
1: Pneumatic valves have good effects on gas media and small diameter liquids, with low cost and convenient protection. Defect: Due to the fluctuation of air pressure, it is prone to the influence of water content in the air pressure during winter in the north, causing the transmission part to freeze and not move. Generally, pneumatic power is faster than electric power, and electric power is used for both hand and flashlight purposes. However, the price of pneumatic systems that require both manual and pneumatic functions is relatively high.
2. Electric valves have good effects on liquid media and large diameter gases, and are not affected by climate. Not affected by the pressure of compressed air. Defects: High cost, poor performance in humid environments.
3. The electric valve operates slowly, and there are not many brands of electric valves that can achieve explosion-proof performance; Pneumatic valves act quickly and are relatively more expensive than electric valves in terms of explosion-proof (depending on what accessories the pneumatic valve comes with, accessories from larger brands will be more expensive than ordinary electric valves).
4. Electric valves are used in some places with large pipe diameters, as it is difficult to achieve pneumatic control. However, the stability of electric valves is not as good as pneumatic control, and the opening and closing speed is slow. The actuator is prone to jamming during long-term operation. Pneumatic valves have fast opening and closing speed and high precision, but require a stable gas source.
